Week 7 + 1 Day

Day 43 - Sunday, June 30 - Prayer Focus: Pray for abortion workers.

• Bible Verse: to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me. Acts 26:18
• Prayer: Father, today we pray for those who work in the abortion industry. Only you can transform the human heart. Help them to see the error of their ways and repent before You and turn from this wickedness.

Day 44 - Monday, July 1 - Prayer Focus: Pray for babies diagnosed with Down syndrome.

• Bible Verse: Open your mouth for the speechless, In the cause of all who are appointed to die. Open your mouth, judge righteously, And plead the cause of the poor and needy. Proverbs 31:8-9
• Prayer: Dear Lord, I know each person is fearfully and wonderfully made, knitted together and created by You. I pray for those diagnosed with Down syndrome. Give their parents and caregivers strength and joy for the journey. 

Day 45 - Tuesday, July 2 - Prayer Focus: Pray for women pregnant as a result of rape or incest.

• Bible Verses: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your path. Proverbs 3: 5-6
• Prayer: Dear Lord, I pray for women who are pregnant as a result of rape or incest. Lord, I ask You make them aware of Your presence and power in this uncertain and difficult time. Give them courage to trust in You. Give them confidence to carry their child to term. 

Day 46 - Wednesday, July 3 - Prayer Focus: Pray for pregnant moms with medical problems.

• Bible Verse: And behold, your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren. For nothing will be impossible with God. Luke 1:36-37
• Prayer: Dear Lord, come in a special way to woman with medical problems who conceives a child. May the love she has for her baby open her heart to trust in Your providence. Indeed, Nothing is Impossible for God!

Day 47 - Thursday, July 4 - Prayer Focus: Pray for medical students.

• Bible Verse: I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have placed before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants Deuteronomy 30:19
• Prayer: Heavenly Father, help medical students to recognize their intellect and will are insufficient to fulfill their "call" to medicine. May they receive the gifts of wisdom and understanding, courage and fortitude, counsel and fear of the Lord so that their vocation is truly at the service of their fellow man.

Day 48 - Friday, July 5 - Prayer Focus: Pray for doctors who respect life.

• Bible Verse: “When you serve as midwife to the Hebrew women and see them on the birthstool, if it is a son, you shall kill him, but if it is a daughter, she shall live.” But the midwives feared God and did not do as the king of Egypt commanded them, but let the male children live. Exodus 1:16-17
• Prayer: Lord, may pro-life physicians never be afraid of human opinion, pain or humiliation in their pro-life stand. Help them when they are tired and discouraged to persevere throughout their career so through their witness many may come to know the truth.

Day 49 - Saturday, July 6 - Prayer Focus: Pray that all medical professionals respect life.

• Bible Verse: The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge; fools despise wisdom and instruction. Proverbs 1:7
• Prayer: Lord, I pray that every medical professional, all ancillary personnel, and support staff, may recognize the dignity and worth of every person in their care. May they see in them a life created in the image and likeness of You.

Day 50 - Sunday, July 7 - Praise Focus: Thank God for Mississippi’s laws which did away with abortion on demand in our state.

• Bible Verse: Let every person be subject to the governing authorities. For there is no authority except from God, and those that exist have been instituted by God. Romans 13:1
• Prayer: Lord, I thank you for the God-fearing people You put in authority over our great state of Mississippi. I thank you for God fearing men and women who give of themselves and their families to make our state what it has become the state that overturned Roe and made Dobbs the law of the land. Thank you for Your prevenient grace for putting the law makers in place that made this possible.
